  1. Returning Your Order

1.1. The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations allows you 14 days from the date you received or collected your order to notify us if you are not completely satisfied with the item. We must receive the item you return to us within 14 days of your notification to return the item. Orders cancelled under these Regulations are entitled to a refund, but you are responsible for any postage incurred in returning the items should you wish to cancel. (If you have took finance, it is the consumers responsibility to contact SNAP finance to notify them of this).

1.2. Items must be returned in the same condition you received them. You will lose your right to return an item if you modify the item, damage the item or change the items appearance.

1.3. The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations give us the right to reduce the amount of refund that you receive, if the non-faulty items being returned are damaged or used in any way that decreases the value of the item or if it cannot be resold.

1.4. Following receiving your order and you wish to return it for any reason, then you must inform us within 14 days of receiving it, after 14 days unfortunately will not be able to accept a return. 

1.5. Please be aware that the item must be returned in the same condition as it was received, all parts present and the item must not be registered with DVLA as this will render the scooter as second hand. Should there be any damage to the item or parts missing then a cost will be incurred.

1.6. To return our product please deliver to our address:

Or alternatively please contact our office to make arrangements, where possible. However, a cost may incur for collections.

  1. Repairs or Replacement

2.1 A consumer has 30 days faulty repair or replace term, if the 30 days has past, the consumer must notify The Mobility People of any fault that has occurred, in which The Mobility People will organise a repair at the earliest available time.

2.2 Should a fault occur within 12 months of purchase The Mobility People will endeavour to repair the fault under the manufacturing warranty.

2.3 Should the fault be found to be damage caused by the consumer or modifications done by the consumer or outside third party, this will void any warranty and be the consumers responsibility to claim on their insurance, and additional inspection charges may apply.

Damaged and Faulty Items

Upon the unlikely event if any item we have supplied is damaged on receipt we request you contact the office immediately. You may have additional manufacturers’ warranties with some products such as electrical items giving you additional rights and you should check these carefully.

 

Here at The Mobility People, we aim to ensure none of our consumers are left without their freedom, should any fault occur then we request that the consumer to contacts our office immediately, photos or videos maybe requested where possible to identify the fault or part required and we endeavour to repair the scooter as soon as possible, dependant on parts that maybe required to be ordered. Our focus is to keep all our consumers mobile and independent.

VAT Relief

You don’t have to pay VAT on this if you have a disability or long-term illness. Just remember to enter your medical details (or those of the person you’re buying for) at the checkout, and we’ll remove the VAT on qualifying items in your basket.

If you do not declare your exemption, or you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are required to charge you VAT at the prevailing rate on the products.
